課程概述

Course Description:
Dutch (III) Upper Intermediate follows on from Dutch (II). Themes include work, media and culture, technology and social networking. digital media, tourism and travel, Dutch culture and stereotypes, societal and political development and the future. As in Totaal 1, the method focuses on building up practical communicative skills, with an added focus on reading comprehension and practical writing skills. Themes centering on Dutch and Belgian culture and society are introduced in each unit. In addition students will give two presentations on cultural themes of their choice in class during the semester, which together account for 20% of the semester score.
